Our Objectives
- To publish and and circulate news and information about the Society and the school
- To organise functions and reunions
- To encourage the introduction and maintenance of various activities held by branches, regional groups, and sporting groups
- To form an international network to support and further the interest of the school
- To support associations which have connections with the school on educational, religious, charitable or similar matters
- To raise such funds as may be necessary from time to time to further the objectives of the Society
The Committee
The Rydal Penrhos Society is a Committee led association for former pupils of Rydal School, Penrhos College and Rydal Penrhos School. Led by the President, the Committee plays an important role in the running of the Society.
Who is on the Committee?
The Committee consists of a President (one year term of office), Immediate Past President, up to two Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, the Head Boy and Girl, Headmaster, Prep Headmaster plus nine ordinary members. Ordinary members can serve on the Committee for three years, and can not be immediately re-elected. In addition to this, Society sports clubs plus regional groups (e.g. Old Penrhosian regional branches) are represented on the Committee.
